![]() Britta Vander LindenAssociate Britta Vander Linden, the newest addition to the Knickerbocker Consulting team, is a government and community relations professional with experience in political strategy, fundraising, event planning and media production. Britta has been involved with numerous local, state and federal political campaigns. Most recently, she was campaign manager for State Assemblyman Greg Ball in his competitive race for U.S. Congress in New York’s 19th district. During her time in this position, the Ball campaign out-raised the incumbent two consecutive quarters and the campaign was upgraded in competitiveness by three national publications/forecasters: Roll Call, Congressional Quarterly, and Larry Sabato’s ‘Crystal Ball’. Britta was recently enlisted by the Iraq Veterans for Congress (IVC) to direct their fundraising operations including direct mail/donor acquisition, major donor appeals, online and email outreach and major fundraising and awareness-building events. The IVC is a federally registered political action committee with a mission to recruit and support conservative Republican veterans running for U.S. Congress. Britta is helping the IVC, in essence, plan a surge on the Capitol Hill by supporting over two dozen (and counting) men and women who have selflessly and courageously fought for our freedom overseas and who now need our help so they can fight for us again...in the Halls of Congress. Previously, Britta enjoyed serving as Community Representative and Constituent Liaison for Congressman Vito J. Fossella (NY-13). In this capacity, Britta expanded constituent services threefold to include city and state issues, cut through government bureaucracy to resolve constituent matters, spoke on the Congressman’s behalf at community meetings and events and identified emerging community concerns. Britta has been very active in the Young Republican community. She was elected and served two terms as Vice President of the Brooklyn Young Republican Club, was appointed Metro Region Vice-Chair of the New York State Young Republicans and served on the Board of Governors of the New York Young Republican Club (NYYRC) as Events Committee Chairperson. During her tenure as Events Chairperson, Britta instituted monthly, themed social events at locations around Manhattan, a practice which has endured as an NYYRC program and remains one of the Club’s most profitable avenues for new member recruitment. Britta was also happy to contribute her creative talent to the NYYRC as a producer and performer for Young Republican Television, the Club’s monthly public access television show. Her professional memberships include the American Society for Public Administration, the International City/County Management Association and The Town of Bedford and Westchester Republican Committees. Britta is pursuing a Masters Degree in Public Administration with a concentration in government at Pace University in White Plains, NY. Britta currently resides in Katonah, NY with her husband Luke. |
